My Journey to Vitality

My transformation from international Fashion Model to Kinesiologist to overwhelmed Mom to passionate wellness coach

From Personal Struggle to Passionate Coach

As someone who has struggled with weight and body image my entire life, I understand what it’s like to feel stuck. The only thing that gave me refuge was sport and exercise. I tried every single diet known to man in an attempt to lose weight, only to end up feeling defeated when nothing worked.

This led me to study Kinesiology and, later on, Holistic Nutrition to understand the science and truth behind exercise and nutrition. It wasn’t until my 30s that I was able to put that knowledge into practice. Even then, I continued to struggle with my weight, finding it difficult to stay consistent with exercise, nutrition, and progress—especially as a busy mom of three.

The year I turned 40, I went through a difficult divorce that left me feeling disconnected from the strong, vibrant woman I knew I could be. That’s when I made a decision that changed the course of my health and fitness: I hired a personal coach and began showing up for myself. What started as workouts became a complete transformation—not just in my body, but in my mindset and energy. With every session, I rebuilt my confidence and started feeling at home in my body again.

Now, it is my mission to help other women—especially busy moms and those navigating midlife—reclaim their vitality.

My Path

The Milestones That Shaped Me

As I enter perimenopause myself, it has become my mission to educate myself deeply on women’s hormonal health — and pass that knowledge on to you.

I chose track and field, basketball and volleyball over modelling which added muscle to my developing body. My agent suggested I try plus size modelling. I got a contract in New York with Ford Models and starting working globally as a curvy model.

My body was changing

I loved my job and was grateful for every opportunity but lost confidence.  I studied Holistic Health Coaching to complement my degree in Kinesiology. I would use these two certifications to build the foundation I would one day use to help transform others.

And I wouldn’t trade this for the world, even though I continued to struggle internally with my weight constantly yo-yo’ing.

Strength is built one rep at a time

Hiring a coach was the best decision EVER!!! Over 18 months, I didn’t just lose the weight—I gained strength, energy, and clarity. The biggest shift came when I discovered strength training and mindful eating. They taught me that wellness isn’t about perfection — it’s about showing up for yourself, one empowered choice at a time. That’s when I truly felt in control again.

Life Outside the Gym

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me at a gym, sports venue, or spending time with my family. Whether it’s cheering on my kids from the sidelines at their tournaments or working out with my partner at the gym, sports and movement have always been—and will always be—my biggest passions. Nature is my reset—whether it’s a morning hike in the North Shore Mountains or a ski day in Whistler, being outdoors brings me balance and clarity.

I spend a considerable amount of time in my kitchen assembling healthy, well-balanced meals for myself and the people I care about.

I also love to travel, explore new foods, and shop! I still model from time to time on my own terms.

As a busy working mom of three, I understand how hard it can be to care for yourself while caring for others. That’s why I’m passionate about helping women create realistic, lasting wellness habits that support both their health and their busy lives.
